Do bones look at rocks and feel ashamed they sold out to the organics? My calcium looks at the serpentine and thinks, I could have been a rock. The bones are so different from the rest of our bodies. Not separate, connected. They are organs in their way. But the hardness is so different. A sudden collection of minerals, accreted and crystallized, set is a rigid structure. Not like a liver with its slimy splattyness.
